The Forge Fuel stokes the flames of the high performance, controllable Forge line.  Every serious bowler needs a ball they can trust when there's a lot of oil in front of them. The problem is that most heavy oil solids force you to choose between control and continuation. You either get a ball that reads early and quits, or one that pushes too far before it sees the lane. The Forge Fuel changes that.

Built on the proven Forge platform, the Forge Fuel is designed to handle aggressive surface adjustments without sacrificing down lane continuation. Right out of the box, the 1000-grit Leverage™ MXT coverstock with Duramax® technology digs into heavy oil volumes for incredible control.   As you adjust the surface to match changing lane conditions, it continues through the pins far better than a Forge Flare or Subzero Forge at the same finish.  This versatility means that one ball can cover more situations, giving competitive bowlers fewer compromises and more confidence.

Detonator Symmetrical Core

The proved Detonator core powers the Forge Fuel.  This powerful engine features a low RG that gets the ball revving early enough to read in heavy oil and a high differential that creates the flare and traction needed to keep it driving through the pocket. The result is a motion that's strong, predictable, and incredibly stable when lane conditions get demanding.

If you're looking for control on heavier patterns without giving away hitting power, the Detonator delivers exactly that.

Leverage MXT Solid Reactive

The biggest upgrade you will find comes from the new Leverage MXT solid reactive coverstock.  Engineered to create more responsive than the Leverage MXC cover used on the Subzero Forge, this cover still provides bowlers the traction they expect from a true heavy-oil solid.

This new cover features Duramax technology built into the cover, helping it to maintain its surface longer, smooth out transition, and create consistent traction shot after shot.  The end result is exactly what competitive bowlers have been asking for: the confidence and mid lane control of the Subzero Forge with noticeably more continuation through the pins.

When to Use

  • Speed Dominant

    Speed dominant bowlers will benefit greatly from the Forge Fuel.  This is a smooth symmetrical piece for fresh oil that should give enough shape to even the most speed dominant bowlers. 

  • Balanced

    Balanced bowlers looking for control in heavier oil or more challenging patterns will love the Forge Flame.  The Forge Fuel is designed for balanced bowlers to use on moderate to heavy oil when their Jackal Onyx is too strong or too forward, but the benchmark balls like the Primal Ghost and Venoms are too clean.

  • Rev Dominant

    For the crankers, the Forge Fuel is intended for the very highest volume oil patterns and severely wet-dry conditions.  Rev dominant players will likely find great use for the Forge Fuel by using it with some surface adjustments.  Shiny Forge Fuels will still be controllable, but with easier length and use on more moderate volume conditions.

    THE STRONGEST SYMMETRICAL ON THE MARKET

    If you're looking for a super strong super versatile symmetrical on the market you found it!!!! It doesnt matter how much oil is on the lane the Forge Fuel can dig through it and still have plenty of energy to destroy the pocket. I absolutely love being able to put whatever grit or polish on it and thanks to the Duramax additive know its going to stay at that finish the entire time im using it.

    Motiv is the best on the market

    If you're looking for a super strong super versatile symmetrical on the market you found it! This ball is definitely a great one two punch with my jackal V2. The Forge Fuel can dig through the oil and still have plenty of energy to crush the pocket. I will be drilling up another one to put some polish on it for when the lanes burn up a little i highly recommend this ball ..

    Motiv Forge Fuel

    I was happily surprised with the Fuel. I figured from watching videos that it would be too much for a house shot. Contrary to this thinking, the Fuel is so good on house shot. Reads the mid lane just enough to get traction, smooth motion but continuous. This is a early ball that if you can start the night with it, the ball has no problem when the transition comes later in the set. Hits like a truck

    HOLY BALL!

    WOW does this ball hook!!! If you are on lanes that have a lot of oil make sure to have this in your bag. I was at a tournoment watching people throw their balls and not hook mean while I had to move left because this ball was hooking!!! A must have in the bag.
