The new solid purple Venom Shock produces a violent reaction on light to medium oil conditions.  It attacks the lane with the proven Gear™ weight block and new cover technology – Turmoil™ MFS (Medium Friction Solid) Reactive, which is a modified version of the more aggressive shell featured on the Covert Revolt.  This core and cover combination provides a smooth yet angular backend motion that strikes with devastating continuation.   

As far as shelf appeal, the Venom Shock does not disappoint.  The vibrant orange logo really pops off the purple shell.  And, for those that are into glow-in-the-dark bowling, the logos on the ball glow orange and green. 

The Venom Shock really does have it all – performance, looks, and a great price point.  The most shocking thing about this ball may be that you get such outstanding performance at such an affordable price! 

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant - Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.   
  • Balanced - For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal.  Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil.  An added bonus for bowlers who love the Venom Shock is how well it responds to surface changes.  
  • Rev Dominant - Those with revs to spare can use the Venom Shock in many volumes of oil and see outstanding down lane continuation for a ball that is conventionally thought of as a control ball.  A shiny Venom Shock is a staple in the bag of many PBA Touring players who want to create some angle without sacrificing control in later transition.

    Recreational Low Rev Bowler, LOVE this Ball!!!

    I am a 50 year old guy with back and hip issues who has made the transition from 2-3 times a year straight bowling with a house ball averaging 115-125, to a once weekly bowler trying to throw a hook! I am averaging around 160-175 and the ball is smooth and so much fun to throw! Thanks Motiv! Now I am gonna get me a sniper!!!!

    Venom Shock is the best

    The Venom Shock has helped my game tremendously! Love how it reads and reacts to the lanes! Had Storm equipment and had an issue with one of the balls cracking and so my fiancé bought me the Venom Shock for Christmas 2021. Storm never took care of my issue so I started using this one and my average went up 15 pins in a matter of 3 months. I tell everyone one that Motiv is the equipment to use ! I swear by Motiv and how they stand by their equipment. They took care of my fiancé twice and was speedy with their turn around rate. I tell everyone about Motiv and how this ball has improved my game. Motiv is my go to for all my equipment. Can’t wait to add more to my arsenal! Go Motiv. If people ask me what company…. Motiv for sure no doubt!

    My first ball from Motiv

    My friend (who’s a devoted Motiv fan) turned me on to the Motiv Venom Shock as my first Motiv ball. I couldn’t be happier with how controllable the ball is right out of the box! The Shock’s continuation through the pocket is a sight to be seen! The Venom Shock is a “must have” in an arsenal and I won’t leave home without it! Thanks Motiv!

    Amazing Ball

    300 in my 5th game with it! Perfect motion, great backend. Glad I made the change to Motiv equipment, rolled a787 with Trident then 300 with the Venom, purchased two more balls!

    Benchmark!!

    Benchmark ball is all I can say. Whenever someone ask me what ball they should add to their bag the Venom Shock is the first thing I always say! The versatility of this ball is beyond anything out there. This is one ball that I can ALWAYS throw regardless of lane condition. I’ve had this ball since 2018 and it has only left my bag to drop off to get resurfaced other than that if I’m bowling this ball is in my bag
