01/20/2022Product Venom ShockBy JustinFrom Albuquerque, nmAbout Me Right handed, no thumb, rev dominant, league bowlerMy favorite solid reactive ball
Being a rev dominant, one handed, no thumb, righty bowler most every ball I throw I am forced to be as far left as possible. This can be quite annoying as most balls any company produces these days are heavier cores and more reactive coverstocks. It's to the point that it's easier and easier for someone to have almost no hand and find something that works for them. If you have all the hand in the world and can't shut it off(dry lanes force me to use a plastic spare ball and it still hooks)it can be quite annoying. Where do you go from there? Urethane? There is such a stigma behind using urethane the other guys on the lanes are quietly thinking or openly expressing disdain for you resorting to Urethane as if you are cheating in some way. This ball drilled out to 5" pin to pap works pretty nice for me at the last mark on the left but at least I don't have to have my leg against the side of the ball return or have to step left around it on my approach. I can generally get this ball to create nice shape but more overall shape with less check at the end than the Fatal Venom yet still get in the pocket, hits solidly and it creates very nice pin action. Not a lot of corner pins either.

01/19/2022Product Venom ShockBy Mike PettinellaFrom Batavia, New YorkLethal Combination
I wrote a review of the Shock in the past, but have to update -- highlighting how well it works in combination with the Fatal Venom. Over the past four weeks, these two awesome balls have struck for series of 794 and 764 -- using the Shock for the first two games and the Fatal for the last game -- after the lanes transitioned. The buzz surrounding these two balls continues! They are a "must" for any serious bowler's arsenal.

01/14/2022Product Venom ShockBy Brandon PhillipsFrom Waukesha, WIVenom Shock
This is the most versatile ball I have ever thrown. I just recently bought a 2nd one for my arsenal. I just recently threw my highest set with mine, 792. This ball is on it's 5th layout and easily has over 300 games on it. Still works like I just purchased it.

01/12/2022Product Venom ShockBy Bruno SoaresFrom Exton, PAAbout Me League bowlerThis is the GOAT
I bought a Shock the year it came out and used it for several years. Then I started more and more Motiv balls and liking them all and realized my Shock was neglected at home. Since I had changed my fit I decided to sell that one and knew eventually I’d get another. Only took a few weeks for me to want a new Shock and I ordered one. This ball is just so good. Super smooth and controllable, hooks more than you’d think based on its spot on the ball chart. The looks of it are also super nice.

This was the first Motiv ball that I purchased and I fell in love with it as soon as I threw it. It’s everything Motiv said it was. I have had all my best games with this ball. I love Motiv so much that I now own 4 of them, and I would never bowl with anything else. I would highly recommend this ball to any bowler. This company has great customer service you can always get someone on the phone, they are very professional and have always given me great advice. Answered all my questions and make you feel like you're part of the family.
