The Max Thrill line is all about giving you serious value without sacrificing performance.  The Halogen core has been a game-changer. It’s a lightbulb design, simple but effective. High rg (2.55) and low differential (.037) meaning easy length and tight flare rings – that’s stored energy, ready to explode.

The Turmoil XP3 Hybrid is the new hybrid coverstock that bridges the gap with speed, fitting perfectly between the Pearl and Solid. This new Turmoil XP3 Hybrid gives more traction than the Max Thrill Pearl while offering more down lane motion than the Max Thrill Solid. When To Use

Speed Dominant - For bowlers whose speed sometimes overwhelms their rev rate, the Max Thrill Hybrid will truly only be ideal in very high friction environments.  For speed dominant bowlers unable to use the super clean Max Thrill Pearl, this new hybrid offering should give more traction while still offering plenty of pop down lane.

Balanced - Balanced bowlers who compete in second shifts or on high friction surfaces will find the Max Thrill Hybrid to be a benchmark piece for those scenarios.  The Max Thrill Hybrid offers a predictable and strong motion down lane for balanced bowlers in higher friction environments.

Rev Dominant - For rev dominant bowlers, the Max Thrills are an absolute must.  One of the reasons this ball was developed was because EJ Tackett uses the Max Thrills so much and felt like there was too large a gap between the pearl and solid.  When the greatest in the world asks for it, we deliver.

    275-288-278=852. Highest series in my 50 years of bowling. Used Thrill hybrid. Ball works magic . Allows me to play straight which is my go to. Thanks Motiv for the great line of equipment.

    Clean and continous

    I bought the Max Thrill Hybrid to be my burnt lane ball. This thing is the second ball out of my bag. It gives me so many options and plenty of room for error. The shape on the lane is exactly what looks good to my eyes. I would highly recommend!

    Bottom of the chart. Top of the score sheet!

    For the value this ball can’t be beat. It might be listed on the lower performance side of the ball chart but I had 0 issues getting this ball to swing and control the lanes. It has become by go to benchmark ball. Layout I used was 55 x 5 1/2 x 35. 300 first game of the league season and an 802 series to boot. Don’t be afraid to get multiple of these balls and use some different layouts.

    The Motiv Max Thrill Hybrid has been money for me when the lanes are dry or burnt, especially in my late games. It clears the fronts easily and still gives a clean, controlled move on the backend without jumping past the breakpoint. I can stay lined up and confident even as the lanes break down.
