The insanely tunable Overload core is a game-changer. The most versatile asymmetric core in the MOTIV line, it delivers a deadly combo of low RG, moderate differential, and intermediate diff. It slots perfectly between the Jackal series and the medium oil Pride line—powerful yet controllable.

Here’s the kicker: Ball drillers can fine-tune the differential on this core to fit your game.  The Overload Core features the unique ability to lower the differential for less flare, perfect for rev-dominant players who need control. This next-level cover digs in for added traction in oil while delivering a slightly slower response to friction for a more controlled backend reaction. When to Use 

Speed Dominant - Bowlers with lower rev rates and/or higher speed will likely be able to use the Evoke Hysteria as a league ball when they want more angle than the standard benchmark piece.  The Evoke Hysteria will handle typical house shot volume for many speed dominant bowlers while providing enough down lane pop to carry those pesky corners.   

Balanced Bowlers - For Balanced bowlers, the Evoke Hysteria is a multi-tool to keep in the bag for tournaments and leagues alike.  WIth a core that can be drilled for many uses and a cover that can easily be tweaked to respond to friction anywhere from moderate to fast, the Evoke Hysteria can serve many purposes for balanced bowlers looking for a medium to medium-heavy oil ball. 

Rev Dominant - For bowlers with exceptionally low ball speed and/or high rev rates, the Evoke is a nice option for a heavy oil pearl with the control sought for such patterns, to a medium oil pearl.  This wide range of options comes from the ability to lower the differential and even shine the coverstock if necessary.

    The Hysteria is real

    This ball is amazing and lately is my go ball. Everything you have read and or watched about this ball is true. Personally I think both EVOKE balls are on another planted and suit me well. But this ball is SPECIAL, I am really thinking about buying another one just to have it.

    Evoke hysteria

    This ball was the thing that my arsenal was missing, I bowl primarily on house shots right now but I can’t wait to try it on a sport shot!

    It is the most versatile ball I’ve bought in a while. I can use it on burnt and oily and it tears through!

    Definitely one of my favorite pearls that I've ever owned

    The Evoke Hysteria has one of the most controllable reactions than any other bowling ball that I have. Like, I can pay attention to the way it reacts down lane, and make adjustments that I know will work. The Hysteria can get down the lane smoothly while having enough strength to get back to the pocket. I would highly recommend this bowling ball to anyone that sees this comment.

    Versatile ball

    I surfaced the ball to 2000 grit with polish and the ball came to life. Very controllable reaction and what impresses me the most is the consistent reaction I was able to get for several games. I have 6 balls from the Motiv line ranging from the Jackyl Onyx to the Supra GT. I am learning when to use each ball and feel I have it covered for any lane condition.

    Love the Motiv brand for the quality and consistency.

    Great on Heavy oil

    At 80, my average is 200 +/- depending on my arthritis and part of that success is Motiv bowling balls. The Hysteria is now one of my favorite go-to balls here at Grand Station in College Station, TX. My second senior league series with it was a 717 with a 279. (stupid 10 pin). They are using a new oil pattern for the summer that is longer, wider and a little heavier & the Hysteria cuts right thru it. I've moved a little right and it picks up mid-lane & hits hard. Very happy with it as you might expect.
