Something out of this world is coming from Motiv Bowling. The all-new NEBULA is built for one thing: maximum angle through the pins.  This isn’t a minor incremental improvement, this is a ball that’s not even in the same universe!   We’ve reached new heights in down-lane motion by combining two brand-new technologies: the Hadron Core and the Dark Matter Propulsion coverstock.  This Cosmic Black Pearl Nebula is cleaner in the front, sharper in the back, and more explosive through the pins.

At the center of the Nebula is the brand-new Hadron Core—our first dual-density core in over 8 years.  This new symmetrical core was worth the wait, generating incredible energy retention for an explosive backend motion.  This new addition is intended to be the most versatile dual density core in the Motiv line while still providing the trademark dual density flip down lane.  And the high-density flip block at the bottom of the core fuels explosive reaction to new levels! 

Wrapped around the Nebula is new Dark Matter Propulsion Pearl - the sharpest, cleanest, and most angular coverstock MOTIV has EVER created. Every single adjustment to Propulsion tech was made with one outcome in mind: faster backend reaction.  Even the cosmic-black color choice and pearl additive were made solely to maximize angularity.  As a result, the Dark Matter Propulsion cover is cleaner and more reactive than any Propulsion technology prior.  This cover is pure rocket fuel. 

When to Use:

Speed Dominant - For bowlers with higher ball speed and/or lower rev rates, the Nebula will likely serve as an angular ball best used on friction.  Speed dominant bowlers require more friction than most, so rather than being a medium oil pearl, the Nebula will likely serve as a medium-dry to dry lane solution when the bowler needs angle. 

Balanced - Bowlers with balanced speed/rev rate ratios will love the Nebula late in league night, late in tournament squads, on lighter oil patterns, and often high friction surfaces.  When friction is present and angle through the front of the lane is necessary, the Nebula will be an outstanding solution. 

Rev Dominant - Crankers will love the Nebula for many situations ranging from medium-heavy oil to medium-dry when they want to see back end motion.  Many rev dominant players like to create angle through the front of the lane and need something that responds quickly to friction.  The Nebula is designed for fast response to friction, which so many rev dominant players love to see.

    Absolutely blown away by the Nebula!

    Everything about the Nebula has been amazing! Love the looks, the reaction, and the versatility.

    I drilled two Nebulas and decided to dull one of them lightly with a 1500 grit pad. The other is left with the out of box polish finish.

    Both reactions provide incredible downlane shape with good traction in the oil. Whether it’s fresh oil, wet/dry, or transition, the Nebula gives you the option to create TONS of entry angle without losing any energy.

    My video ball review of the Nebula compared it to the Evoke Hysteria, Steel Forge, and Primal Rage Evolution. All have unique shapes and are slightly different, with the Nebula being slightly longer, more angular, and more overall hook.

    THE NEBULA TURNS PINS TO COSMIC DUST

    The Nebula is absolutely insane!!!! When they say the most angle to date they mean it!!! I've never seen a ball push so clean through the heads thanks to the dark matter propulsion coverstock and dual density Hadron core. rgy to power the CERN large hadron collider for a life time.The Nebula obliterates pins into cosmic dust. If your'e looking for a good transition or mid volume house shot ball get a Nebula today!!!!

    GREAT right out of Box

    This ball and motion got a huge thumbs out from me out of the gate. Game 1 in league, wasn't a fan of how it looked on the fresh. With game 2 and 3, could not miss.

    The surface on the ball I kept as-is out of box, and was much better as the night went on. It was a nice compliment to my EXJ Jackal, with great length and angle down lane.

    Clean down lane and responsive to dry.
    If you like a ball thats a little long and has a nice angle down lane, this is your guy. Was able to play pretty deep if I wanted to as well. Seems versatile and excited to use it more each week!

    Nebula is ALL new!

    The brand new Nebula is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. The Nebula has provided a brand new ball motion to the Motiv lineup. The Hadron core with the Dark Matter Propulsion™ has generated down-lane motion that is unmatched. I have had the opportunity to throw this ball on both sport and house patterns and the way it retains energy to SNAP in the back end, has been incredible. If you want a ball that quickly responds down-lane and goes sideways, get the Nebula, you won’t regret it!

    Our fastest response piece to date!

    Previously my fastest shapes in my bag consisted of the Steel Forge and the Primal Rage Evolution, the Nebula takes all of their power and turns it up to 11! Between the new Hadron Core shape and the Dark Matter Propulsion cover, I am able to cover just as many boards as the Steel Forge, but with a cleaner shape through the body of the pattern like I am used to with the Primal Rage Evolution. It has brought a completely unique shape to our line that I have already fallen in love with. Nothing else in our line has the ability to recover downlane the way the Nebula does. If your arsenal is in need of that clean, responsive, no quit shape, there is no other ball I would point you towards!
