Two legends combine to create the new Primal Ghost!  This isn’t just a new ball, it’s a monster built for destruction.  Take the legendary Jackal Ghost, the longest-running asymmetrical powerhouse on the market, and its legendary Coercion HFS Solid cover.  Now merge that with the Impulse V2 core, the same core behind killers like the Primal Shock and Primal Rage Evolution.  This fusion of two technologies creates a new beast designed to dominate medium oil conditions.

The Impulse V2 core is back, and it’s still a monster.  This is the same core that dominated in the original Primal Rage, the Primal Shock, and the Primal Rage Evolution.  With a high RG profile and .050 differential, this beast delivetrs insane energy retention and 5”+ of flare potential.  Proven. Explosive.

Coercion HFS has been the benchmark for heavy oil control for over a decade.
It’s strong, predictable, and continuous. And now—it’s paired with a higher RG core, giving you length without sacrificing grip.  You don’t mess with a formula that works, so we didn’t. When to Use

Speed Dominant - Many speed dominant bowlers love the Jackal Ghost, so adding a ball to compliment it when the lanes start to get dry makes so much sense.  The Primal Ghost is a simple and easy ball down from the Jackal Ghost.  Additionally, it should be a great benchmark for speed dominant bowlers on moderate to moderate-dry lane conditions. 

Balanced - For people who are balanced in their speed to rev rate ratio, the Primal Ghost will be a great option for the middle of their bag.  With a smooth, moderately strong coverstock and a higher rg core, the Primal Ghost shouldn’t get started too early while providing a smooth down lane motion.  The Primal Ghost is an earlier and smoother motion than that of the Primal Shock. 

Rev Dominant - Those with the most revs and/or lowest speed will benefit greatly from the combination of a high rg core with a smooth coverstock.  For many rev dominant bowlers, the Primal Ghost will work well as a first ball out of the bag on a typical house shot or moderate volume league pattern.

    Top Notch Benchmark ball

    I was pleasantly surprised that the core cover combo worked so well. For me it is a benchmark style medium reacting ball that responds to whatever type of rotation the player uses. The primal ghost is super versatile and I am able to stay in this ball a lot longer than the other balls in the lineup with surface. The only downside is surface maintenance is needed more often than other Motiv balls in the lineup.

    The Primals IMPULSE V2 CORE combined with the Ghosts COERCIONS HFS SOLID COVERSTOCK brings a ball that will dominate all medium house shots and give you great control on medium to long sport shots

    The high RG core promotes good length and the cover provides a smooth reaction

    If you are a fan of the Ghost, this is a great step down

    For most bowlers this will be a middle of the bag ball

    Great midlane read and a smooth reaction downlane.

    Worth the Wait

    The Primal Ghost is exactly what I had been hoping and waiting for -- a symmetrical benchmark ball that is predictable, smooth, earlier than the Venom Shock but still very strong upon impact.

    Opening night of league play -- 5-man -- 753 series -- on 44-foot house pattern!

    Two legends come together to make something unforgettable. The Primal Impulse core infused with the Jackal Ghost Coercion HFS cover makes for a staple in any bowler’s bag. The new Primal Ghost gives me a benchmark ball motion with unimaginable continuation. I use my Primal Ghost when the lanes are hooking a bit or when the lanes have slightly higher volume than your normal house shot. It has a very predictable motion and keeps my adjustments to a minimum. The Primal Ghost goes with me everywhere, no matter what the Primal Ghost can handle it. Hands down probably my favorite piece in my bowling bag.

    Two legends come together to create a deadly combination. Introducing the PRIMAL GHOST. A combination of the Primal Impulse V2 Core and the Ghost Coercion HFS Solid Cover. With an RG of 2.55 and 055 diff this ball will dominate medium oil conditions such as a house shot.

    The Primal Ghost provides good midlane motion with smooth motion downlane and continuation through the pins

    For most this ball will land between the Lethal Venom and Sub Zero.

    If subzero is your go to ball then the Primal Ghost will be a great transition after Subzero.

    If Lethal provides midlane read but not enough downlane motion or continuation through the pins the Primal Ghost is perfect option

    I went with a slightly smaller drill angle to reduce hook window with a bit higher flaring layout. Pin to Pap 4 ¼ and smaller Val angle to provide more continuation
