04/06/2025Product Primal Rage EvolutionBy Mark LondonFrom Dubuque, IowaAbout Me Proud Pro Shop StafferPrimal Rage Evolution -- Yes, please!
When I heard ‘the red ball’ was back in the Motiv line, it took me back to my early days on staff.
With only a few games on it, I tossed an honor score at the 2014 USBC- OC. When the new Evolution was announced, I was curious how different it would be from the original Primal Rage. The shape is similar to the original, even a pinch cleaner through the midlane with the familiar continuous strong arc on the backend.
I will grab this if the solid Evoke or Venom Shock are too strong, depending on how deep the puddle is in the midlane and back of the pattern. A 60x5x40 layout allows me to move as far left as needed, even left of fourth arrow, to open up angles at the back end once the pattern gets a couple games of play. The new Propulsion FYJ coverstock on the Impulse V2 Core are quite the combination that will quickly earn a spot in your bag.

This ball has been amazing from the get-go. Very controllable. Predictable movement on the lanes. Already a couple of honor scores with it.

01/29/2025Product Primal Rage EvolutionBy Jeff SandersFrom Ballwin, MoAbout Me Motiv StaffRed Ball Great
The latest entry in the Primal Line brings back an old favorite with the Rage and it's evolving.
On a normal league night, this is easily my 1st ball out of the bag. It's clean thru the front but still has a rolly type finish. Make no mistake, it flips and turns but not in a traditional skid snap fashion which means I can stay in it longer than some other pieces. I went with a 5in Pin to Pap Layout that has the pin a couple inches above my ring finger.I would recommend this to a friend

01/24/2025Product Primal Rage EvolutionBy John EnzenauerFrom Byron, ILAbout Me I am avid league bowler. I bowl on 2 leagues a week. I bowl occasional tournaments and like to be humbled by Nationals each year. lol IYKYK I switched to Motiv after the Buyout of EBI by brunswick when they shut down the US plant. So I switched to an AmerWOW is all I can say.
I did not have the opportunity to throw the OG Primal Rage so I don't know how this compares. But this ball is fun it is pretty predictable for me. On an oily night the ball falls in line for me EXJ, Primal Shock then Primal Rage. On drier nights this ball is a monster and works right out of the gate. First night out of the Box I threw this for 767 which is top 3 series for me. I have not repeated that performance but that is not the ball that is the bowler lol. I really love how this ball reads and keeps going.
