Since 2017, the legendary Jackal Ghost has been reigning terror on heavy oil. With paranormal performance, it delivers more total hook potential than any previous Jackal with no loss in continuation. It's scary good! The Predator V2 weight block, first used on the Jackal LE, is now at the core of the Jackal Ghost. Featuring a low RG and loads of differential, this asymmetric design is easy to rev and produces massive track flare.

Combining the physics of the Predator V2 with the chemistry of the new Coercion HFS (High Friction Solid) cover stock, the Jackal Ghost elevates heavy oil performance to a new level. Coercion HFS is the most aggressive cover stock to date on a bowling ball in the Jackal product line. Turned with a 3000 Grit Lss Finish, bowlers will see both excellent mid-lane read and unbelievable continuation.

Obviously the Jackal Ghost will be a go-to ball for bowlers that want to see more hook without sacrificing continuation on higher volumes of oil. It will also be ideal for bowlers that have a low rev rate or higher ball speeds.

WHEN TO USE: 

  • Speed Dominant - For a bowler with high ball speed or those with lower rev rates, the Jackal Ghost serves as an outstanding benchmark option due to the cleaner cover and controllable motion down lane.  The versatility of drilling offered by the Predator V2 also makes the Ghost a great benchmark piece for speed dominant bowlers. 
  • Balanced - Players who are balanced in their speed to rev rate ratio find the Ghost to be a must have for fresh oil and longer patterns.  The Jackal Ghost is ideal for balanced bowlers to use in a variety of lower friction environments. 
  • Rev Dominant - Over the past several years AJ Johnson and EJ Tackett have proven that the Jackal Ghost is a must have for the rev dominant player.  Due to the coverstock being moderately clean, a rev dominant player is able to use the Jackal Ghost without worrying about it “burning up” or getting too forward down lane like so many heavy oil asymmetrical balls

    Had to get Another!

    I bought this ball when it first came out quite a few years back and had a lot of success with it. Unfortunately it cracked so I could no longer use it. Normally I would just move on and get something else, but I loved it so much that I decided to just buy another one. It’s that good. There’s a reason why this ball has been in the lineup for so long and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Smooth and controllable, but also shapes quite a bit down lane. Not to mention is hits like a truck! You just don’t see that in a lot of bowling balls. This one is just special.

    THE Jackal you need

    If you haven't thrown anything in Motiv's Jackal line but are interested then get this ball. It will absolutely convince you. The Predator core is a killer and this ball just ends up being so versatile even when the lane oil breaks down. You can throw this ball out when the oil is heavier and it will come roaring back. If youre a player that loves to throw out and in the Ghost will definitely give you the wow factor and just always seems to find a way back to the pocket. I don't love this ball for playing more straight up the lane because it just creates so much hook and angle but if you're speed dominant you can get some good looks that way with this ball for sure.

    There's a reason it's the longest running asym on the market right now after just celebrating it's 5th year going. This ball is GOOD.

    Best Motiv Ball

    It was the first Motiv ball I’ve ever owned and I’ve bought multiple since. I’ve only thrown Motiv since I got my first Ghost and don’t think I would go back.

    Why did I wait so long

    I just picked up the Jackal Ghost this past week and threw it for the first time in league last night. I bowl in 2 leagues, one house typically a drier surface. Last night was the higher volume house and wow is all i can say. I am now into my third league season and my game has evolved enough to where i can control my speed, get my hand around the ball and move left to stay in the oil. The Ghost floated to the pocket all night. For the first time in a very long time, I didnt split all night. I would give the Ghost a 5 star rating but last star is based more on me learning how to throw it and my own improvement. So the ball gets a 5, I get a 3 and we average out to a 4 for now. Taking this ball to a tournament this weekend and hope to see similar results. The Ghost is the longest running asym in the industry for a reason, this ball gets the job done. Thank you Motiv for another great tool in my bag.

    This ball is amazing. I use it on sport patterns. This is always the first ball out my bag at tournaments and events. This is a must have and a huge staple in your arsenal
