The new solid purple Venom Shock produces a violent reaction on light to medium oil conditions.  It attacks the lane with the proven Gear™ weight block and new cover technology – Turmoil™ MFS (Medium Friction Solid) Reactive, which is a modified version of the more aggressive shell featured on the Covert Revolt.  This core and cover combination provides a smooth yet angular backend motion that strikes with devastating continuation.   

As far as shelf appeal, the Venom Shock does not disappoint.  The vibrant orange logo really pops off the purple shell.  And, for those that are into glow-in-the-dark bowling, the logos on the ball glow orange and green. 

The Venom Shock really does have it all – performance, looks, and a great price point.  The most shocking thing about this ball may be that you get such outstanding performance at such an affordable price! 

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant - Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.   
  • Balanced - For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal.  Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil.  An added bonus for bowlers who love the Venom Shock is how well it responds to surface changes.  
  • Rev Dominant - Those with revs to spare can use the Venom Shock in many volumes of oil and see outstanding down lane continuation for a ball that is conventionally thought of as a control ball.  A shiny Venom Shock is a staple in the bag of many PBA Touring players who want to create some angle without sacrificing control in later transition.

    I have never had a ball that I can rely on so much. Anytime that I am in a funk, I can always rely on the Shock to play just the line I need for any situation with minor adjustments!

    I could write paragraphs about this ball. I mean this ball is truly one of a kind. This ball works so good on your typical house shot and even has power through more heavier oil patterns. You should never take this ball out our your arsenal!

    Amazing, Just Amazing!!!

    If you are looking for a Motiv ball and don't have one of these then look no further. This ball, in my opinion is one of the best benchmark balls on the market. Not just best Motiv but BEST PERIOD. If you want to know what the lanes are giving you then this ball will definitely tell you.

    been using for years, with over 500 games on it - still going strong

    Even after hundreds of games, this ball is still the smooth controllable centerpiece of my arsenal. if it ever dies on me, I'll be grabbing another one immediately.
