Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil. After taking 21 years off of bowling, I decided to start again and buy a new lighter ball. Motiv wasn't even around when I stopped bowling, but I was intrigued by their equipment. Our pro shop recommended the Venom Shock so I had him drill up a 15 for me. First 3 games were 213,257 (first 8 strikes) & 206 (5 straight 9 spares). I wasn't that good when I used to bowl often. I am looking forward to trying some more Motiv products.

There is a reason why the Shock is the GOAT! By far the greatest Benchmark Ball of All Time! Started throwing the Affliction on the 2021 USBC Open Team Pattern, after the transition the Shock came out to play! This bad boy rang out a beautiful 279 and 268 game! There isnt a pattern that this ball cant work great on!
If you are new to Motiv, this is the first ball you better get! It is the most versatile ball on the planet! I can literally throw this ball anywhere on the lane and hit the pocket with little effort! Its a Must for Everyone to have in their bag!

Hands down the greatest bench mark ball to ever exist. I’ve owned 7 so far and love the control and predictability of this cover. Several 300’s and my first sanctioned 800. This ball can work for absolutely anybody. I recommend this ball to anyone who comes in our shop.

I have been bowling in a league for only 3 weeks, and purchased this ball. I’m a new bowler and was a bit worried how this ball would work for me , as i have only used lane balls and bowled straight in the past, with a little bit of guidance from the local pro shop operator i was soon curving the ball down the lane. I was blown away with the pin reaction when it hits the pocket, compared to what i have used in the past. I can see my game improving massively and a lot more X on the score board. I know a lot of pros use this ball, but it is definitely an awesome choice for a beginner as well. Well done Motiv.
