Paired with the Gear core, and you will find a benchmark bowling ball that needs to be in every single arsenal.
Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil. This is an amazing ball choice for light to medium oil. I have never been happy with a ball as much as I am this one. Throwing for the first time in a sports league just learning pro patters bowling a 697 series 2 weeks ago on the stone hedge pattern. This ball is also amazing for house shots because u have a little bit of freedom outside and has great break and angle. For any one just starting out with asymmetrical this is a great choice and you wont regret it.

Possibly the best ball ever made by Motiv. I got my first one a few years ago and I ended up having to get rid of it. Since then I have switched completely over to Motiv and will not look back. This is by far the best benchmark ball in the industry. There's a reason the ball is still on the market years after the release date. There's just something special about the purple balls from Michigan and this is the best one that I've thrown to date.

I bought the Venom Shock as a step down from my Jackal when the lanes start drying out. At first I struggled with it but once I got a few games in it lined up great. It has since become the ball I start every day with and with its smooth roll and great lane read it tells me exactly what the lanes are doing before we get through practice. I love this ball and highly recommend everyone have one in their bag you won’t regret it.

After much reading online, I decided to go with the Venom Shock. It's been a while since I've been on a league and can't wait to start. This ball just feels and looks good going down the lane. I hope to pair this with another ball soon! I'm not sure what one, but I'm sure it will be another MOTIV!
