Paired with the Gear core, and you will find a benchmark bowling ball that needs to be in every single arsenal.
Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. I like everything about this ball. I can play down the boards, add some boards if need be. It is very smooth, rolls great.

I just got this ball for my birthday and it is now the first ball out of my bag. Love the reaction I get when it hits the pins and I think it is beautiful going down the lane!!

Motiv's Venom Shock is a must for any serious bowler, or even a league bowler just looking to have fun. The Venom Shock is a staple in the Motiv family, just as the Hy-Road is with Storm. There is a reason why this ball is still on production all these years later. For tournaments, this ball is first out of my bag. It doesn't read to early for me, and it doesn't go to long. I'm a lefty with avg speed and between 350- 450 revs. This ball reads the mid lane perfectly and goes through the pins like it weighs 100lbs!!! The continuation and hitting power is amazing, considering this ball came out in 2014, and is still in production, and is consistently being used by the pros on staff.

The Venom Shock is a very good bowling ball, and it hooks a lot like I wanted to and I have a very good reaction with this bowling ball
This ball is probably the best Symmetric ball with a little bit of an engine in the core with The GEAR weight block. This ball is a must have for house shots and short patterns. Honestly You have to have this ball in your bag. You will not regret it
As I said in the Recoil review this is the 2 punch in the 1-2. if the recoil is reading to soon or to much backend, pick this ball up and finish the Shock.
