Clean through the fronts, a strong midlane read, and incredible drive through the pins. It creates the perfect motion for a light-medium oil benchmark bowling ball. Paired with the Gear core, and you will find a benchmark bowling ball that needs to be in every single arsenal.
Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil. This ball has been amazing. It provides a strong arc and with a pin down layout add a little stronger back end considering it level in the guide. Definitely underrated.

This ball kills pins. I take this ball out to start and usually stick with it. Some call it benchmark but I’m more inclined to call it the only ball you’ll need in a regular league. It continues through the pocket like a tank. Do not hesitate to buy this ball.

I hadn't bowled in 18 years. I came back with my old stuff in tow to find that it didn't work well. I talked to my PSO and found the Venom. That worked great from day 1. I am not disappointed at all.

This ball is an absolute dominator on the lanes. First game shot a 299 with it, and I was very impressed with its contiuation. Definately a benchmark ball for anyone. The reaction is smooth with a little bite near the end. Very good ball to own, and a ball first out of the bag for sure!

This is probably MOTIV's most popular bowling ball ever and there many reasons why. If you don't have one yet, I encourage you to get your hands on one ASAP.
I mostly like to throw this ball on...well almost anything. Big angles in short patterns, Medium Patterns, and yes Long Patterns too!
It does work straighter as well!!!
I was skeptical at first, but oh my... I can bowl with the Venom Shock on flat fresh long patterns and house shots alike!
And the hit? Well... I throw probably the sickest messenger on my life with this one...
